August 24th, 25th & 26th,: 'Herstmonceux Castle Medieval Festival'-
Held annually over the August Bank Holiday Weekend, Herstmonceux Castle Medieval Festival has grown to become Britain's largest three day celebration of the middle ages! Located in Sussex, this event is now in it's 10th year and the activities features will include:
Hundreds of combatants with cannon support sieging the castle walls, jousting and archery competitions. As well as Fire-Eaters, Falconry, Puppeteers, Strolling Minstrels, period Craft Stalls, Living History Village and Kid's Kingdom.

August 10th & 11th: 'European Historical Combat Guild Annual Seminar'- The Guilds annual Royal Armouries Seminar, comprising lectures and talks on all aspects of the WMA.

April 26th, 27th, 28th: 'FISAS - 3rd International Meeting of Historic & Classical Fencing'
A 3 day event of fencing with some well known names from the Classical and Historic Fencing community.
The event comes under the banner of both IMAF and the European Historical Fencing Alliance and will include classes on:
Italian and Spanish Rapier & Daga, Duelling Sabre, French Smallsword, German Sidesword, German Longsword, German Dussack, Singlestick, Walking Cane, XIX Century Unarmed Combat, Sword & Buckler from the I-33 Code.
There will also be a rapier tournament held on the Sunday according to FISAS rules.

March 23rd & 26th: 'HEMAC - Dijon Event'- The first big event by this comparatively new, but rapidly growing organisation. Relocated from it's Paris venue to a soon to be announced site in Dijon. A big get together for everyone interested in WMA and a chance to see how everyone else spars, studies and has fun. Demonstrations by a number of WMA practitioners from a wide variety different backgrounds and interests.

July 28/29th: Wars of the Roses - See the age old battle between Lancashire and Yorkshire played out at the Royal Armouries. The Armouries are joined by Lord Thomas Stanley's Retinue to recreate the famous retreat from Towton, when Yorkist forces ambushed the fleeing Lancastrians.
